Gretchen Seamons, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist and the co-founder of Seamons Leadership, a consultancy specializing in leadership development and executive coaching. With almost a decade of experience, she has established herself as a trusted advisor and expert in her field. Gretchen's areas of expertise encompass psychometrics, 360 evaluations, and executive coaching. She assists organizations to identify and develop top talent, foster effective leadership, and drive organizational success.
Gretchen's professional journey has taken her across the globe. She lived and worked in England for six years, and France for two, gaining a deep appreciation for cross-cultural dynamics and global leadership practices. Her fluent French and international experience have enriched her perspective and allows her to bring a global mindset to her work.
Gretchen's educational background reflects her diverse interests. She studied French at Brigham Young University and holds master's degrees in French from Wayne State University and Oxford University in England. Her pursuits recently extended to psychology, culminating in a third master's degree and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Saybrook University, which she successfully completed in 2021. She is in the final stages of licensing as a psychologist in Wisconsin.
Gretchen volunteers as a regional children's minister for her church in Milwaukee, and as the president of the Music Parents Association at her children's high school. Gretchen takes pride in being a mother of four and a grandmother to three grandchildren. Her love of travel, constant pursuit of knowledge, and passion for the arts keep her busy outside of work. Brett is the co-founder of Seamons Leadership LLC. He has almost 30 years of experience developing executives, teams, and organizations. He has worked in hundreds of CEO led team settings, helping accelerate the productivity of executive teams. His impact is significant when leading large-scale development and assessment projects, including M&A assessment and integration, and consulting with multi-industrial global firms. He has conducted a wide range of coaching assignments, organizational studies, and leadership assessments. Areas of expertise include individual business performance executive coaching, organizational climate and culture analysis, team effectiveness, and international readiness and family assessments. He has strong experience with the Tech, Manufacturing, Banking, Finance, Insurance, Utility, and Retail industries.
Brett is a Midwestern native but has lived abroad for many years. He has a global mindset with extensiveexperience in multinational cultures, including work in Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. He started working as a Marketing Analyst for Ford Motor Company and a Learning & Development consultant at RL Polk & Company. Prior to founding Seamons Leadership LLC, his consulting experience came with the global firm RHR International. He served as adjunct faculty at Wayne State University in Detroit. Brett received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Psychology from Brigham Young University and earned his Psychology Ph.D. at Saybrook University. He is a member of the APA and is a licensed psychologist in the state of Wisconsin.
Brett is actively involved in Milwaukee community and civic affairs, serving as a commissioner with the Milwaukee Social Development Commission, on the board of the Bel Canto Chorus, the national Board of the BYU Alumni Association, the executive committee of the Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee, as Wisconsin community outreach director for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and volunteers with Troop 400 of Scouts BSA in Milwaukee.
